A Quick Explanation of Anger

Even the slightest inconvenience in your life

Can make your blood boil.

Why does this occur so easily with most people?

In order to understand anger,

We must understand how it stems from frustration.

In order to understand frustration,

A useful example is the psychology behind “road rage.”

Someone cuts us off.

Regardless of their reasoning

(Maybe their relative is in the hospital),

We get upset and consider it a personal attack.

We’re goal-oriented creatures.

Driving from Point A to Point B is a goal.

We don’t like obstacles which prevent us from getting there.

Frustration stems from not getting the outcome you want.

That’s why we get frustrated when our kids don’t obey our commands.

Imagine all the external factors that we can’t control.

And doesn’t give us what we want.

We can only control our response to it.
