There’s a story of a person who found a golden eagle’s egg and put it into a chicken nest.
The eaglet hatched and grew up with the chicks around it.
It scratched the dirt and clucked and cackled like the other chickens.
It flew less than a few feet off the ground.
Years passed and the eagle grew very old.
One day it saw a magnificent bird fly in the cloudless sky.
“What a beautiful bird!” The eagle exclaimed.
“What is it?”
“That’s an eagle, chief of the birds” – said a neighbor.
“We could never be like him.”
So the eagle continued to live the way the chickens did,
Until it died just like the way the chickens did.
We must surround ourselves with positive experiences and positive people.
YOU CANNOT SOAR LIKE EAGLES WHEN YOU SURROUND YOURSELF WITH CHICKENS.
