A farmer was travelling with 3 donkeys and came across a river.
He wanted to swim in it but didn’t want his donkeys to wander off.
He tried tying them to a tree but only had 2 ropes.
The farmer saw a wise man close by and asked for advice.
“Tie 2 and pretend to tie the 3rd one.”
The farmer swam and noticed all 3 donkeys stayed in the same spot, miraculously.
He thanked the wise man and went on his way.
He noticed the 3rd donkey refused to move.
The farmer tried to move him,
but it didn’t budge.
He helplessly returned to the wise man for advice.
“Did you untie the 3rd one?”
“I never tied him.”
“You know that…
But does the donkey?”
The donkey moved after getting “untied.”
