There’s a word we’ve been using that causes self-harm.
We often use it after we make a decision that didn’t give us the result we wanted.
“Should’ve”
This is the word we use when we regret.
“We should’ve taken this route instead, now we’re stuck in traffic.”
When we live in a state of regret,
We preoccupy our mind from moving forward.
We suffer from our own decision making.
It prevents us from making more
Because we know there’s a high chance
We won’t like the result.
This is crucial, especially when we engage in self-talk.
We end up “should-ing” all over ourselves.
We don’t accept the reality of our decisions
And we may feel as if there’s something wrong with us for feeling this way.
Removing this word will take patience.
However, we’ll gain a relieving sense of freedom.
