The One “WRONG” Word You’ve Been Saying

You’re having your normal conversation with your spouse.

You get this vibe that their mind is elsewhere.

It bothers you to the point where you must ask:

“What’s wrong?”

Your intention seems pure

However, the word itself can bring incorrect implications.

Think about it.

We all get sad/angry at some point.

Is it actually wrong to feel that way?

Instead of validating these feelings,

We’ve programmed ourselves to hide it because “it’s right” to do so,

And people want to do the “right thing.”

Then we add salt to the wound by asking:

“What’s wrong with you?”

What we mean to ask is,

“What’s troubling you?”

Using the “wrong” word can bring disastrous results

As people can take it as a fundamental issue about themselves.

It’s okay to feel sad and angry at times.

You aren’t wrong for doing so.
