I know some of you are bubbling over the rim with positivity.
I know you like cheering people up when they’re feeling down.
However, it’s invalidating when you treat someone’s negativity
As something that can be pushed aside like it’s no big deal.
Most negativity for a person has been brewing since birth
And they had no choice but to live in a household full of it.
There are 2 concepts
When understood together,
Might give a glimpse
Of someone’s helpless/hopeless mentality.
The first concept: “The Tipping Point”
Malcolm Gladwell describes this as:
“The moment of critical mass, the threshold, the boiling point.”
Next concept: “Full Tilt”
We usually hear this in poker
as it can mean “inclined at an angle”
or “full speed.”
Combine both concepts.
Can we reverse someone’s “Tipping Point?”
Or create a new and transformative one?
